For the last twelve years, I have been intensely engaged in genealogy. I began to work as a professional genealogist in 2002, after my final exams at the universities of Paderborn and Hagen, in History, jurisprudence, and pedagogy. I do research in church records, in the state and communical archives, and in the nobility archives especially in Westphalia. My geographical specialty is the former Prussian province Westphalia and the Lippe territory.
