After completing of my
legal studies I have been a free-lance professional
genealogist since 1984 with one office close to Zurich
and another in Berlin. I work in all archives and with
all archivists that could contain material relevant to
genealogy. My areas of expertise include:
- research in matters of
emigration and the determining of source areas,
- the church records as well as
the legal and administrative documents of the area
formerly known as Prussia (I have a data bank with
over 250,000 entries),
- heir tracing.
I have published numerous
articles in genealogical publications and have taught
genealogical methods at Colleges of Adult Education and
Universities.
